On Tuesday, an Alaska Airlines 137 flight from Portland, Oregon, headed for Anchorage was diverted when the pilot was notified after 23-years-old male passenger allegedly attempted to kiss a sleeping teenage girl, according to officials.
According to the report, the man was sitting next to the girl, 16, allegedly attempted to kiss her. The pilot informed the authorities. In Seattle, the man was booked for fourth-degree assault. The case against the male passenger will be handed to the King County Prosecutor’s Office for official filing of charges, Airline Officer – Cooper added. Officials have not released his name.
The teen girl remained on board the flight, which continued to Anchorage at about 3 p.m. local time.
